2007 - 2009 Progress
Architect's rendering of the new community center. The Ozark Parks Department recently awarded bids for the Ozark Greenways Trail project and center. The Trail will follow along the Finley River from the city park to the community center.
This includes going along the back of our property. Volunteers are helping clean up the river. Everyone is excited.
Facts about the Community center.
The Community Center will be built on a 58 acre piece of land off of the south side of Jackson street. The center will include two full-size basketball courts, a running court, a fitness area,an indoor aquatics facility, community rooms, concessions, wet and dry lockers rooms and a child watch area. Eventually, the Park Board plans to add an outdoor skate park. |
